3 Things To Do To Grow Spiritually

Live more contentedly:

Your life is not valued by the abundance or types of things you own. Your life doesn’t have meaning because of your financial position or career title. Your life is valuable because God has called you by name. He is your shield and great reward. He will never leave you or forsake you.

Scripture:
Luke 12:15  And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Fight for your faith:

Your faith in God will be challenged by difficult circumstances. Will you continue to believe in God's love, power, might and provision contrary to circumstances. Or will you abandon God and what you have been taught to believe?

Fighting the good fight of faith means to hold on to your hope and love for God when life is challenging.  You must run your own race on the track God has set you.  Don't let difficult circumstances cause you to lose hope or faith in God. Run/live to win the prize of eternal life.

Scriptures
1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

2 Timothy 4:7  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Look forward to His Coming:

Are you looking forward to the Lord's appearing? Do you long for it? Your time on earth is not the end of your life. There is an afterlife. You have a wonderful life ahead of you that will be lived in a world where Satan (the god of death) is bound. You will live in world where there will be no more crying, heartaches or pain. No more infant deaths or diseases. No more poverty or hunger. No more divorce or premature death. No more theft or terrorism. Just a wonderful life in the presence of a loving God.

Scriptures
2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Revelation 21:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
